2013 saw "Just 2 Eagle Scouts Doing a South Branch/Raritan River Cleanup" become much much more as one event led to another and then another until this River Family and its River Warriors realized it was time to become something bigger...something lasting...and the Central Jersey Stream Team was born.

With the support of Branchburg DPW Jens, Joe and Paul took part in CJST's very first cold weather floodplain cleanup on the Raritan. What we thought would be a short litter pickup ended up being an all day thing. And by the end of the day it was snowing! What we learned today? Tarps are our nemesis!
